GML Misconception

There appears to be a common misconception that using GML will adversely impact our XML schemas. I have taken an extract of an existing Virtis/Opis XML instance document and reverse engineered an .xsd XML schema document using GML. The result is only minor (optional) impact on the instance document. So we can adopt GML and still retain the Virtis/Opis work. Even though I "used" GML, using GML means writing XML code - GML is not a separate language. Please have a look at these documents and see for yourself - they are posted in the documents section.
